The Greene County Youth Athletic Association (GCYAA) reminds parents that registration for the 2022 football program is now open and will close on Aug. 1. Parents can go to www.gcyaa.org to fill out the online registration. They will create a profile and enter their information only once that will save time for future registrations.
The football season is for athletes who will be entering third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grades in the fall. Third and fourth grades will learn the fundamentals of football through flag football. Fifth and sixth grade athletes will play modified tackle football. Third and fourth grades registration fee is $50 per athlete and fifth and sixth grade registration fee is $125 per athlete.
Each additional athlete from the same family receives a $10 discount.
Youth camp with the high school team is August 2. August will start practice with games beginning in September.
